So this is a wiimote I made during the second week of my 3D course at Desgraff Institute [link] . And guess what??? It's ANIMATED : [link] Well, it's simple but, hey, we're not supposed to have seen animation right now so give me a chance.
I had a lot of fun making this and I am preeeeetty proud of the final result. I think I'm knowing 3Ds almost as much as I know Blender right now. There are a lot of differences between the two softwares and it was frustrating in the beginning to not know my shortcut and all but now it's okay.
Doing this piece, I have improved my modeling with blueprints and I have learn what is the UV unwrap and how to do it. It's pretty much putting an image 2D on a 3D object. That's how I made the writing on the buttons and the details on the top of the wiimote.
Well, I think that's pretty much it. Comments are welcome and I wish you a nice day!
---- P.S.: Go see this artist gallery, you'll be amazed : [link]
Yup, the wrist strap isn't there. In fact, the back of the wiimote isn't quite well done actually so I have carefully hidden it in this render.^^ You can still see it a little on the animation though.
Thanks for the comment!
