Description

Hello world.

This deviation was supposed to be one of those "make it as fast as you can" thing. I wanted to make it reaally quick for the challenge and to see what I could do with little time.

In the end, the UV texture thing (an option that gives you the possibility to put an image on a 3D object) gave me A LOT of trouble(almost as much as glass!) and msn was open so....

Done in about 3 or 4 hour all today.:) I have learned a couple of things doing this piece, mostly on the UV texturing, that will hopefully help me in my next creations. The symbol on the headphones is from a short animation that is pretty popular in the anime community.

If you can't find it, there is a big clue in the title. My next deviation will be about that particular animation so I hope you'll try, and succeed, to guess what it is. =P

Try having a good day and I would be honoured if you would let a comment, suggestion or critique. Even more if it would contain a point you think could be better in the render. That said...

See you soon!

Meh... I'd rather comment in french, but since YOU chose to be a misterenglishsmartassmuffin, then fine, here goes:

The work itself, considering the time and the fact that you have no formation whatsoever in modeling, is beautiful. Your rendering skills are improving and it's fun to see your works. So far I'm impressed, as always, by your handywork. ( I was and still am impressed by your chainworks, too. )
Now for the critique part, here's my two cents: Even if I am aware that you just initiated yourself with UV texturing, I think some work has to be made. Either by using pictures with higher quality or definition. My point being that we can see a certain lack of definition in the gift images. That being said, here's something for all your works, to date: I'd encourage you to work more on background objets, and texturing. I often find your renderings very interesting, and well done there. But the backgrounds and poor textures (like that horrible marble table there) makes the object stand out in an awkward way, making it look out of place. (kind of like a wonderfully rendered character in an 8-bit game) Please understand, though, that I am aware that you just started, I'm merely suggesting you invest more time building a textures library, and pointing out that it would add up to work wonderfully. =)

As far as comments goes, this has to be my longest one. Ever. xD
I miss you buddy, I'm looking forward to our next meeting.
